Hide Your Heater

A Guide for Girls

I must say I don’t know what half the stuff she’s talking about “A selection of a-line, empire waist, and loose button up shirts.” what the hell does that even mean???

That being said not only has the gun world spent most of its time in the hands of men (a reality that is thankfully changing) woman’s clothing and holsters often make things a tad more difficult for women to carry than men. I have a series of photos of me shoulder carrying that I never got the nerve to post, maybe I’ll throw that up for people like myself who don’t like to wear belts, making on-belt carry a bit moot.

Also for more lady-holster talk check out this video series Starting here Also she did a nice bit on carrying a gun AND a baby. Useful as now there are TWO lives that depend on you for safety!

Be safe out there!

You’ve seen my method 🙂 I’d like to detail it at my blog, for the benefit of those who have trouble conceal carrying like I do, only . . . advertising to the world exactly how you hide your gun doesn’t seem like a very good idea. 🙂

Eh, I don’t blog under my real name, nor do I advertise my blog to people who I’m not well acquainted with. I talk about conceal carry and gun rights on this blog all the time, so by telling somebody my blog name I’m essentially saying “Yeah I’m cool if you know I carry”.

If somebody happens to read my blog and sees a picture of me and puts 2+2 together, well that’s so many odd circumstances all wrapped in one, I’m not gonna concern myself with it.

Plus all that mental gymnastics, but we could help just one more person to find a method where they can carry EVERY DAY well wouldn’t that be worth it?

      Lissa,

You could do a multiple method photo shoot. I’m sure ladies who have your physique would be interested in seeing the advantages and the draw backs of each style.

Then it would be harder for a person to identify exactly which one you are using….not much harder but enough.

Eh, the odds of someone being able to localize both your location and your identity well enough to pick you out of a crowd and attack/disarm you are pretty slim, all things considered.

And I say that as someone who has had a dedicated, multi-year cyberstalker, and as someone who openly carries.

This is certainly not to say that you should detail your method, or that I am encouraging you to do so, but it might prove useful for someone, and the odds of it backfiring are slim :).
