What if the Survival G33ks are Right.

Really amusing video. I also hadn’t thought about this. What if somebody brings mortars to your gun fight.

Well first up, I have never heard of mortars being used outside of a war zone in the US. But it IS an interesting scenario. First up, mortars are not impossible to acquire. An outside or an inside job on an Military Armory, and of course there are the drug Cartels in Mexico who are essentially a full-fledged military force with everything from machine guns, grenade launchers, and armored fighting vehicles. But also the Mortar is probably the 2nd firearm ever made…first being the smooth-bore cannon. Its not rocket science to make an exploding cannon-ball and a cannon to shoot it. Its not much harder to make a simple mortar tube and shells.

Of course the answer for me is, if they come after me with mortars, I’m fucked, as they can level my house while I’m sleeping, and be dead before I have any idea I’m under attack. If I get the heads up, your only option is to MOVE and hide. The only way they can’t get you is if they have no idea where you are. Then leave the scene, or take our the mortar nest gorilla-style.

Just funny to hear something that you liken to dorks on gunboards, but realizing its hardly impossible…
