Anti-Freedom, Not Anti-Gun

Today’s Shaming again goes to Ladd Everitt of CSGV

Remember that Zimmerman got a concealed handgun permit in Florida despite having assaulted a cop. Yes, NRA has made it THAT easy.

Now I’d hardly like Mr. Zimmerman as the poster child for gun rights or concealed carry, that being said Mr. Zimmerman was only CHARGED with Resisting arrest, not only was he not convicted, he was never even tried for that charge, they were dropped.

Just like the anti-rights activists want to deprive rights without due process with the so-called “Terror Watch List” (which contains nothing but innocent people and NO actual terrorists), but it appears they want to give law enforcement Cart Blanche to arrest, try, convict, and probably execute people.

They are against due process, they are against freedom. They do not care one wit about guns or public safety.

Remember that.

Not only were the charges dropped, it looks like they were expunged, too. So legally, it never happened.

Of course Ladd would also prefer that people on a secret list with no due process or court oversight controlling who gets put on it, and that only identifies people by name, be forever banned from possessing a gun. So it’s not like it’s surprising that he wants people who have an arrest on their record that may or may not have been valid to lose their rights, too.

I was charged with a crime erroneously and the charges were dropped…and likely expunged as I’ve asked our HR director if anything showed up on my background check, and she noted nothing. It was a crime that never happened, I was simply charged in error.

Of course we know what Ladd, Joan, Jason, and all their sympathizers feel about me personally, so of COURSE they’d like those errors made by the legal system to be held against ME. I think everybody who is sane and good (of which the anti-rights activists are neither) would disagree with that.
