Big Man

James “Buck” Yeager wants to kill you!

Awww Big Man, so tough!

More here at Endo

Even More from Linoge! Turns out carrying on like this is indeed a crime.

Good for him!

Oh and on a final note, expressing interest in killing somebody over an insult, no matter how crass it may be is NOT something you want a jury of your peers hearing if you’re ever in a lethal force scenario. Yeager has just found himself in the horrible legal limbo as this guy.

Let me note how the law works. My wife had for a time uncontrolled epilepsy and was under medical recommendations not to drive. Her license was still valid, as the state doesn’t get involved in such things. Still how the law works is if she, during this time, had been involved in an accident, would have been found to be negligent due to her illness and ignoring the orders of her doctors. It wouldn’t matter if she hit a patch of black ice, or if a kid ran out behind a parked car. She wasn’t supposed to drive, so legally it would be her fault.

We’re both glad those days are over. For Yeager, those days will never end. If I were him, I would stop carrying and owning guns because any use of force would likely have a hard burden to beat a murder rap.

Another video with a slightly more veiled threat on his own channel.

Yep, come over and meet him. If you INSULT him, he will get physical and potentially murder you. Not only is he a stupid and petty person, but he’s the LAST person you want to train with for the potential of a lethal force scenario.

I always thought that guy wasn’t right in the head. This just proves it.

  2. D2k says:

4chan /k/, is a shit hole, but sometimes they do something interesting.
Of course they also really know how to push someone’s buttons.

    • Weerd Beard says:

Yeah they’re being dicks intentionally. Personally I don’t give two shits on what happened to Yeager in his military career. That’s above my pay grade, so-to-speak, and none of my damn business.

What IS relevant is Yeager’s reaction to this, and it eclipses anything that may have happened to him and others on the field of battle, as well as anything said by internet trolls.

To make an analogy from my personal life, I have a friend who slept with somebody’s wife. When the husband found out he threatened to murder my friend.

I was talking with him about his options, and I went over the standard fare of protection orders and personal firearms, and noted that he may have to kill this gentleman if he sees him again, as he has made his intentions known.

My friend rightly felt some guilt in the scenario. I told him “Yes it was VERY stupid, and wrong of you to sleep with another man’s wife. That was a dumb move, and one you shouldn’t repeat. Still that does NOT justify him in threatening you, or taking your life!”

Our legal system takes things into consideration. Harassment is a no-no but it in no way is cart-blanche for assault or murder.

Any Sympathy Yeager was due he burned up in moments!

      • D2k says:

yep, let’s just hope nothing bad happens, this will reflect poorly on the whole gun community.

        • Weerd Beard says:

won’t reflect on me at all. He’s not me, and I don’t support him, nor will I.

The antis will attempt to spin it. But we got there first!

Now on the other hand, look at how they treat criminals who are also openly anti-gun. Yeah we’re not the ones who need damage control.

      • Tam says:

Personally I don’t give two shits on what happened to Yeager in his military career.

To the best of my knowledge, he didn’t have one. He was an LEO in TN and did some contracting work in Iraq.

        • Weerd Beard says:

Fair enough, and my “Give a Shit” needle still hasn’t budged.

What happened over there is so beyond my scope, I won’t bother. Now what he’s doing right now is a HUGE deal, and that is worthy of a lot of comments and discussion.

          • Tam says:

Not saying it should budge your needle, just clarifying.

Seriously, though, in a training market full of people who don’t come with steamer trunks worth of baggage, why people fall for the marketing hype of the Fail Trinity is beyond me…

          • Weerd Beard says:

            Because Ninja, I suspect.

Tho Yeager doesn’t have epaulettes…that means he isn’t worth shit I guess.

          • Tam says:

            Yeager is not ninja.

Vickers, TigerSwan, Falla, Lamb, Defoor, Proctor, McNamara, Howe, Pannone, and many others are pretty legitimately ninja.

I guess when you’re trying to market your services in an industry full of former action guys who had legitimate careers jumping out of helicopters with knives in their teeth, you’ve gotta pump up the advertising hype.

          • J says:

Of course… but those are exactly the sorts of people that will sniff out Yeager’s fear from a mile away. Yeager couldn’t get a contract teaching custodians how to empty the bins at Fort Bragg or Coronado. That sort of Cracker Jack prize bravado only lures in idiots and the deeply uninformed.

        • Kristophr says:

          Which outfit?

If he worked for Custer-Battles, I will laugh my ass off, and then publicly admit that he is a braver man than I will ever be.

  3. Linoge says:

Let me preface this by saying that I do believe dueling should be 100% legal so long as both parties are amenable to whatever agreement they make before engaging in the activity.

That said, dueling is strictly verboten here in Tennessee; not just as a law, but as an actual article in our state constitution.

It terrifies me that someone so markedly ignorant of the state law is training people to carry firearms in this state.

    • Weerd Beard says:

I don’t know if I can agree with your sentiments. I think we have law enforcement and civil law for these very reasons.

Yeah there’s the libertarian in me that sees nothing wrong with behavior between consenting adults.

But there’s also the non-violent person in me who wants to only see LESS violence, never more…

    • Kristophr says:

Dueling was outlawed in the US because it eventually became a means for a professional duelist to make money taking contracts to kill people.

The duelist would deliberately and elaborately insult the intended victim, with the goal of driving him to accept a challenge.

Eventually, people got tired of this crap, outlawed the practice, and started hanging duelists that were slow to get the message.

  4. Jake says:

    A bit off-topic, but…

My wife had for a time uncontrolled epilepsy and was under medical recommendations not to drive. Her license was still valid, as the state doesn’t get involved in such things.

That’s surprising, especially for a nanny-state like MA. I know in VA if your doctor diagnoses you with seizures he’s required to report it, and the DMV will automatically suspend your license until you’ve been seizure-free for 3 months. I know this because I had a coworker who had to scramble for second opinions because she got referred to a specialist that turned out to be somewhat less-than-scrupulous – turns out that she had a reputation for always diagnosing a problem as seizures, even if it was something else, because that was her specific focus and she didn’t want to deal with anything else, but (I assume) she also needed to keep patients so she could get paid. Because of where my coworker lived and the lack of public transportation (because this is a fairly rural area), she could have lost her job if she couldn’t drive, so it was a pretty big deal.

    • Weerd Beard says:

Yeah, seizure laws are patchwork across the country. Mass and Maine (the two states my wife has been licenced to drive) both don’t suspend licences, and just drop the hammer on those who have accidents after the fact.

I know other states have different laws.

Also in those states you don’t get a clean bill of health unless you’ve had 6months of seizure freedom, or the Doctor signs off that the issue has been solved. (A friend had a seizure due to dehydration, and was cleared to drive after 3 months because that was the origonal prognosis).

  5. ChrisM says:

By extension of his comments, would not every person that took training from him now face possible court problems in a self defense situation as being “someone that has taken training from a person advocating murder”?

  6. Joe in PNG says:

Had he instead challenged them to a boxing match (or MMA, et al) ala German Uber-hack “director” Uwe Boll, then he wouldn’t be in this mess.

    • Weerd Beard says:

Really the big point of order is he simply isn’t talking about it at all. This insult to him is an expression of an opinion of an event that Yeager is very tight-lipped about.

I don’t challenge Joan Peterson to Pistols at Dawn, or crossed sabers, I just ask her to defend her positions outside of her arbitrary moderation. That’s all that’s needed.

But sure if Yeager wanted to get into a boxing/wrestling/MMA match with his detractors, I see nothing wrong with that.

Tho it doesn’t say shit about if he’s a coward or not. But hey, if it makes people happy, its a free country.

The country isn’t so free that you can kill another person’s life for sport. That’s what he’s claiming to want to do. That’s just pure pig-headed dumb.
