“Gun Death” Drunk Footballer

Hey if he didn’t have a gun they’d both be alive!

Texas — Dallas Cowboys practice-squad linebacker Jerry Brown was killed in a one-car accident Saturday and teammate Josh Brent was charged with intoxication manslaughter.

Irving police spokesman John Argumaniz said the accident happened about 2:20 a.m. Saturday in the Dallas suburb. Brent was speeding when the vehicle hit a curb and flipped at least once, Argumaniz said.

Argumaniz said the 25-year-old Brown – also Brent’s teammate at the University of Illinois for three seasons – was found unresponsive at the scene and pronounced dead at a hospital.

You’ll notice the Jovan Belcher blood-dancers are strangely silent on this. You see, only “Gun Death” counts!

Not his first brush with driving under the influence either; yet he was able to get a driver’s license, buy a car (background check???), buy insurance, and buy alcohol (background check???) .

The players union has a free ride for those who become impaired — obviously it wasn’t used. The club’s event promoter knew that there was a likelihood the players were drunk “fools order Ace after Ace” – if it was obvious to one person; why didn’t the other players stop him from driving?

We are told as gun owners we are responsible for the actions of criminals — are they going to hold the other NFL players responsible?
