CAIRO (Reuters) – Christians gathered on Sunday to pay final respects to Pope Shenouda III, who sought to soothe sectarian tension in his four decades atop Egypt’s Orthodox Church but saw increasing flareups in the majority Muslim nation in the last months of his life….Christians, who comprise about a tenth of Egypt’s 80 million people, have long complained of discrimination and in the past year stepped up protests, which included calls for new rules that would make it as easy to build a church as a mosque.
Shenouda had served as the 117th Pope of Alexandria since November 1971, leading the Orthodox community who make up most of Egypt’s Christians. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, Egyptian state media reported.

While I was very aware of the Coptic Christians who have had it VERY rough due to the Islamist overthrow of Egypt. Still I didn’t realize the Copts had their own Pope. Further a little wiki search it turns out the Greek Orthodoxy has their own Pope too!
I think we can settle a TON of sectarian issues by having an All-Pope Cage Match. That would also keep the Protestants and Episcopals in line because you don’t want to fuck with the Pope-King Of The Steel Cage!
Further we allow the Muslims to get a Caliphate again (if they argue let them have a dozen different Caliphates, and just set up a Cage Match Bracket), and then the Caliphate can compete to be king of the Steel Cage too!
Put it on Pay-Per-View, it would be AWESOME! Also it would encourage God to select Popes that are a little more spry than the current line-up we have!
You might be overestimating how much most protestants care about the pope…

Well, considering there are baptist churches that have schism’d over whether or not to have a TV in the church nursery, I somehow doubt they’d even notice it if a Hulk Pope was walking by…
