Innocente Marcolini, 60, an Italian businessman, fell ill after using a handset at work for up to six hours every day for 12 years.
Now Italy’s Supreme Court in Rome has blamed his phone saying there is a “causal link” between his illness and phone use, the Sun has reported.
Mr Marcolini said: “This is significant for very many people. I wanted this problem to become public because many people still do not know the risks.
One guy gets a tumor in a certain location, and JUDGES call it a “Causal Link”. Man, people WANT this to be true SO BAD!
Again, note that cell-phones are TWO-WAVE radios! Yeah your phone is transmitting, but its also RECEIVING a stronger signal back from the towers. So more than just your ear is getting blasted by the same waves.
Hey but why let science get in the way with some good fear mongering and regulation!
Oh and you know what else people want to be true? “Climate Change”!!!!
Monday’s mammoth storm that caused severe flooding, damage and fatalities to the eastern U.S. will raise pressure on Congress and the next president to address the impacts of climate change as the price tag for extreme weather disasters escalates.
Was this storm anything spectacular, or was its storm track what caused all the damage? I mean Southern states take this crap EVERY year, just most hurricanes hit the Carolinas or south.
Hey but probability can be science too…or something!

This the same Italian legal system that found some geologists guilty of homicide for not warning people of an earthquake?
You might want to look into cube root functions. But basically, while the cell tower transmits a very strong signal, it’s quite weak when it gets to you. The phone transmits a strong signal (weaker than the tower, maybe) but it’s quite strong where you are.
If you go up a mast on a ship to work on whatever, you take a key with you, to make sure they can’t fire up the high energy stuff and boil your balls for you. OK, that’s kilo to megawatts, not mere mili to watts like in the handset, that’s why maybe it’s cumulative. Or not, the jury is still out.
My boss spends more than half the working day on his mobile. If he dies of anything but brain cancer, that would definitely disprove the theory.
The last one’s a valid point.
There’s enough field usage that there *will* be actuarial data that would show a correlation.
Though I can’t help but think this meme is about “Our betters” bemoaning cheap and ubiquitous communication/recording/data access.
We are talking about folks who see the First Amend in the same way they see the Second.
That’s not to say that the other points aren’t valid. Just that the last one will yeild hard data in time.
(Though like the lack of any “global warming” in the last decade and the utter inability of Climate Models to predict squat…)
And the Progs want us to be more like Europe?
Prolly true. The evil white racist regime in DC be givin’ free sale fones to all the bruthas in the hood just to keep the black man down. Know ahm sayn? Feel me? Cancer, tumors, addiction, violence, VD, broken families…all part of whiteys’ plan.
Bush put the policy into action at the behest of Cheney back in 1492.
.akshdksfasD IT’S NON-IONIZING RADIATION YOU ITALIAN IDIOTS. Your MICROWAVE would’ve killed you already if the stuff from a cell phone could.
Hell, we would’ve died already as a whole if that kind of stuff actually hurts us. Longer-wavelength radiation like microwaves and radio waves (going up all the way up to ultraviolet) gets through our atmosphere entirely. That’s why we can have microwave and radio telescopes on the ground within our atmosphere. ARGH
