I gotta say, I was scratching my head at the trend to carry para-cord arts and crafts with you everywhere, but the idea does seem too good to not give it a good thought. I need to think of a way to integrate some cord into my wardrobe.

Perfect timing for this, thanks for the post. While on our honeymoon last week, my wife and I stopped at Somky Mountain Knife Works, and she ‘almost’ bought a Paracord bracelet. She couldn’t pick one she liked well enough, but she did consider it. I’m now sending her this link so she can re-consider her consideration. 😉
I gotta tell you, the other day I could have really used about 20 ft of paracord to string an extension cord over a torrent of rush water. Wound up finding a heavy towing chain that did the job but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t good for the extension cord…
Allow me to pimp a Florida company, Survival Straps, that sells paracord bracelets/key fobs/belts/rifle slings. Not only do you get a fine selection of products and colors, but if you ever use the cord, just send the spendings back with your story of how you used it, and they’ll re-weave it (or make you a new one) for free!
