The hard part with this “Global War on Terror” is we don’t have any of the traditional rules of engagement, an enemy force that doesn’t play by any of the rules outlined by the Geneva Conventions, and no defined “War Zones”.
I’m 100% fine for US forces killing enemy combatants who are directly engaging them or peaceful entities, no matter WHAT nation they claim citizenship to. Still this policy is very vague, and makes me wonder how far the administration might be willing to go on these grounds.
