Rush Aftermath

From the Ogre:

interesting that he’s still doing well in .45 ACP. Well I guess I win in the caliber wars again! I understand the loss of 9×19, its really the best defensive caliber, and the people have spoken!

No man that’s just because you have to shoot ’em so many times with the 9×19. Those guys have to carry like 5 spare magazines, minimum. And that’s if there’s only one or two bad guys.

45 will take the bad guys arm off at the shoulder, donchaknow?

Walked through the local Cabela’s yesterday, and they were surprisingly well stocked, though there was a noticeable lack of .22 and a sign up that said “limit 10 boxes of ammunition per customer.”

But Weer’d EVERYONE supports reasonable gun control laws !!!!
What is being shown can’t be happening because everyone knows they don’t ‘need’ hollow point bullets or assault rifles or ultra-extraordinary-capacity magazines….right?

I’ve taken pictures that show much less on the shelves than what Ogre has — actually a little jealous availability is better there 🙂

Well, I’m not worried about the Panic Buying and Gun Shortages. I’ve just gotten my Moisen-Nagant back from my Father AND a Spam Can full of RUSSIAN Ammo! So when the Jack-Booted Thugs start to Smash down the Doors looking for those EVIL BLACK RIFLES, well, if it worked on the Eastern Front, it’ll work here!

Then I’ll just use the Thugs Gooberment Issue Weapons against them. Now THAT’S “Your Tax Dollars at Work!” ; )

I was in my local store today and even the cowboy bullets were not really in stock. There were about 4 boxes of .45colt in stock. Almost no .410 rounds. I was surprised.
