Workplace injuries and fatalities here, sixty miles from Cleveland, are horrific. Crushing, electrocution, burned alive in molten steel, commercial driving deaths, traumatic amputation, etc.

Anti-gun/anti-rights people may want to look at workplace death stats before doing the usual screaming-meemie about guns. Unless my eyeballs and brain are deceiving me, some occupations have accidental fatality rates that exceed by far the murder rates in most political jurisdictions.

Accidents are non-volitional, although there may be liability issues. Firearm use against humans is pretty much volitional (ignoring ADs and NDs, and possibly other exceptions I can’t think of). There may be a real reason–no BS, no smart-aleckiness–to ask why America’s murder rate is so low?

Actually, you’ll probably find a pretty big crossover between the gun banners and the anti industrial greenies.
