Quote of the Day: Joan Peterson

Sometimes I really scratch my head:

To prevent domestic shootings, guns should be taken from the abusers/stalkers/subjects of protective and restraining orders rather than providing guns to those who are abused. This is just not the kind of country we want. Arming more people will not solve the problem of gun violence.

Now the only reason why Joan is ANYBODY in the gun control world is because her sister was murdered by her husband in very prominent case.

Now Joan’s late Brother in law was subject to a restraining order which would have stripped him of his guns. A) He refused to give them up, laws be damned, and B) He was close friends with the local police chief who was the first person he called after the murders.

Now in Barbara Lund’s case, she was murdered at her estranged husband’s house at a time when concealed carry was illegal. Still the idea that LESS guns makes people MORE safe is proven factually incorrect in her own personal life.

Still banning guns is more important to her than human safety, so that’s where she stands.

AND Joan still admits to be being an alleged gun owner herself.
And we know how crazy she is……

    ” . . . [C]lose friends with the local police chief . . . .” Does anyone doubt that
anti-freedom gun control, Second Amendment repeal, and all sorts of suffocating anti-gun regulation really amounts to elites becoming “close friends with the local police chief”, so that elites will always have the guns they’ve denied Joe Sixpack?

So, the shooting of Joan’s sister was a domestic where the shooter enjoyed a friendship with the local police, right? There are some very serious motive-‘n’-credibility issues with Joan’s rhetoric. (BTW-I’d mistakenly thought Joan’s sister was killed by an unknown assailant who hadn’t been caught, which I likewise thought explained her cartwheeling, all-over-the place rhetoric.)

I read in one of the links the NRA is proposing gun familiarization and marksmanship training for schoolkids. The NRA’s right on. America is a gun culture. Ownership and lawful use of guns is a good, civilizing thing.

Do a little googling of “Russel Lund Jr.” Essentially his family owned a huge grocery chain in the area, he was VERY well-off, and yet had his hands in a lot of illegal stuff from silly (shoplifting) to serious (domestic violence, murder, and alleged smuggling).

Very strange case, and very unique case…but Boy Joan makes it seem like an every-day “Gun Death”.

Well, once again Joan hasn’t done her Fact-Checking.

Did you know that the Supreme Court, just a couple of months ago, ruled 9-0 that ANYONE who has been Convicted of even a Misdemeanor Domestic Violence Charge is BANNED from purchasing Firearms? 9-0, Joan. Of course, that only counts if the Gun goes through the NICS or the State Equivalent System. And the Courts actually SEND that Info in.

And the POLICE have the RIGHT to seize any Firearms that the Abuser already owns? That is, if the Police decide to take the time and go after them, of course. Gotta get those Traffic Tickets issued!

Oh, and did you know that, in Ohio, a Person who gets issued a Restraining Order or their “Significant Other” is Convicted can leave the Court House, head straight the Sheriff’s Office with their Paperwork and get a CHP issued ON THE SPOT? And that Law has been in place for YEARS?

But the big question is why does Joan Peterson support Policies that would enable MORE Victims like her Sister to be Hurt and/or Killed? It’s as if she WANTS more Scum like her Brother-in-Law to flourish.

And for the Silly Statement like “Oh, they’ll just take the Gun Away from you because you’re a WOMAN,” well, does that mean she doesn’t want Female Police Officers and Military Women? And we both know way too many Ladies who could Shoot Goblins all day long w/o it being an issue.

Joan may not be Legally Insane, but her Brain sure isn’t working correctly.

Remember Melanie Hain, the soccer mom who was demonized by everyone else, including our insane Japete, for carrying at the games? Melanie was shot dead by her Correctional Officer husband, with his SERVICE SIDEARM, and Japete gloated, yes, GLOATED, that she had been murdered! Japete is one sick little monkey!
