The Sea Serpent

From C-90 a sighting of the rare oarfish!

That’s not a small one, but they do get bigger! They are relatively rare fish to see because they live far offshore and spend a good deal of time in very deep water.

You can see some pictures of oarfish bigger than this on the wikipedia page. This fish is likley sick and/or dying being in such shallow water. Their thin bodies would not hold up well with contact with the bottom.

This is the origin of the famous sea serpent stories, and an animal that used to be considered a cryptid.

Very cool!
