On the surface the antis and us are on the same side. We’re against violence, just our methods are 180 degrees from each other. The antis claim to want to disarm people to reduce their capability of violence, the pro-gun side simply sees the valid response to wanton violence is judicious righteous violence.
Only the antis have had their chance and the experiment didn’t work…except they’re still going, and they’re referencing even more draconian and unsuccessful tactics.
THEIR GOAL IS NOT TO REDUCE VIOLENCE! THEIR GOAL IS TO DISARM US! THEIR GOAL IS TO DESTROY THE PRO GUN MOVEMENT!
This is not paranoia, this is the ONLY logical rational for this line of action. They want to destroy us! Destroy their movement first!

As evident by Rebecca Peters et. al. calling it a “problem” that Australian gun ownership has returned to pre-Port Arthur levels, despite their continued reduction in “gun violence” (no better than ours, but hey, their confiscation scheme “worked”), and despite that Australians have been buying government approved bolt-action and break-action long guns.
Good video. Those scenes of guns being cut up look like similar scenes in the States of confiscated guns and slot machines being dumped from barges, and beer kegs and liquor bottles being smashed during Prohibition. Then we have our prohibitionist “war on drugs” laws that are doing exactly what? Great post.
