So I get the Sunday Globe. On a good day I skim the front page, and above the fold in the “Local and State” section, pull the coupons and the funnies and toss the rest in the recycling, and read the funnies while I clip coupons.
Today was two worth posting here. Rhymes with Orange was AWESOME!
And then most of the time I don’t even bother with Doonesbury, but I’m glad I read it today:
oh Garry Trudeau you fucking HERO! A Charlie Hebdo comic two MONTHS after the attack, and it appears he has reproduced several images from that publication done by departed artists (tho I’m not sure, because Charlie Hebdo had a miniscule circulation, so there aren’t THAT many people who were regular readers) and does Josh a little on Muhammad, but he doesn’t actually do the big nasty which is actually represent the Prophet of Islam in a comedic fashion. Not like the shitbags who go all Jihad over a fucking comic strip can READ!
So yeah, Gary, I suspect you’ll be getting a phone call soon from Washington so your Butt-Buddy Obama can pin a medal on your chest for you brass-ones!
