Of course we all know from the various court cases ruling DC’s Ban on Carry and gun ownership, that the government of the District is deeply anti-gun.
So when proceedings were done to charge David Gregory with illegal possession of a “High Capacity” Magazine within the District of Columbia, they axed it!
It was an open-and-shut case. Gregory showed the 30 Round STANAG magazine on national TV in High Definition, the police also took possession of the very magazine Gregory held up, and they have records of the producers of the show contacting the ATF asking about if it would be legal or not, and were told not to do it.
If Gregory was to be arranged on this crime, I see no other move but for him to plead No Contest to the charges. They had him dead-to-rights.
This is why the antis hate when pro-gun people say “Enforce the laws we have, don’t write new laws!” Because they’ll only enforce them if they don’t like you.
