Roundup of Communists on Wall Street

I haven’t talked much about the Occupy Wall Street protests
Big #1: Waiving signs and chanting accomplishes NOTHING, be it hippies looking to end the War in Viet Nam, PETA attempting to get us to stop eating tasty animals, or the Tea Party.

#2. A Socialist protest against the rich organized by George Soros and his Move on.org, and the total disjointed nature of the event doesn’t seem to warrant much interest from me.

Still Others have said it better than I could so here they are:
North over at the Gun Blog Black List Slow Children Playing (great photos, and GREAT title and analogy!0

Robb over at Sharp as a Marble, and a direct reflection from Jay . Two hard working family men who did it all on their own through hard work, not taking kindly to slackers and losers demanding a peice of their blood, sweat, and tears.

Linoge points out what we all know, that these people are not the bight shining stars of the world.

Last, Karl over at Ushanka points out the danger of Communism that these idiots are calling for.

Marxism, over the last century has been tried all over the world by many different nations, most of them ended in extermination of its own people by its “Altruistic” government. It really deserves the title of “Failed Social Experiment of the 20th Century”, and those who still cling to its tenants and call themselves “Progressives” are indeed idiots, useful or otherwise.

I am a student of history and I know what I don’t want to see befall my land. That being said, these morons don’t offer much threat except to cleanliness of New York’s urine-scented streets.

BTW if we indeed had a communist system, these people would have nothing to contribute and would likely be the first to be executed.

As annoying as these people are, I don’t see anything happening until they come up with some sort of real message–right now it’s just angry people yelling. Great for entertainment, but not for “changing” anything.

Several bloggers I follow have expressed strong views on the subject. This article from the Oathkeepers site caught my attention, and I’m asking you and your readers for insight. I’m posting this comment on a few different blogs, so you might see it elsewhere. Thanks!

Eh I think it’s worth mentioning that this started out of the Anonymous movement (note the big A) all the crap that lulzsec and other Anonymous groups have done has been pretty pointless and stupid.
The only thing that they did that had any real value was the first big Anon op, the Chanology project. Chanology was basically just berating the crap out of scientology and bringing the dangerous and illegal things they do into the public view.
But as a result of the relative success of that they attracted a lot of useless kids with no real direction or purpose in life and the result has been all of the follow up projects which are largely in line with the occupy wall street stuff.
I haven’t paid a lot of attention to the occupy wall street stuff, but I have noticed that it seems to have been taken over by some other interest groups and I’m not surprised it was move on that did it.

It’s also worth noting that the greater anonymous movement is harmed by the “Anonymous” groups that are really far from anonymous in anything they do…

Yeah the Scientology stuff was awesome…but I think today “Anonymous” is now best remember as a movement that made flesh of 4/chan….which nobody really wants to see, and would rather go away.

  4. Drang says:

Communists, or anarchists? There are differences, including that, historically, they hated each others guts…
    /Captain Pedantic…

    • Weerd Beard says:

Most certainly Marxists (to be further Pedantic) as Anarchists are all about toppling the system. While Marxists may be revolutionaries and looking to topple A system, it is only to make way for THEIR system.

In this case Marxist revolutionaries will graciously accept free power and public service such as sanitation workers to remove their trash and wastes from a Marxist establishment that is the City of Boston.

Of course I use “Marxist”, “Socialist”, “Communist”, and “Progressive” all interchangeably tho there ARE subtle differences between all of them.
