“Gun Death” Foster Dad

Ugh, another Gut Wrencher…

Joseph Charles Todd Dunn, 39, is accused of beating 20-month-old Russell Chapman in the days leading up to his death Oct. 10.

After investigating the boy’s injuries, police in Henry County issued warrants this week charging Dunn – the boy’s foster father – with felony murder.

What gives? At least with biological parents you can accidentally become parents. Its not like you and the wife split a box of wine and wake up the next morning with a horrible headache, the house a mess, and you’re foster parents. And of course given that this is a beating death, it doesn’t count as a “Gun Death”. Makes a difference, doesn’t it? No? Tell a gun control advocate!
