That’s not at all why people support gun control. It has nothing to do with “keeping you down” or keeping you “where you belong.” It’s about minimizing gun violence, which I admit is a debatable idea, but it has nothing to do with bigotry against gun owners and no similarity to the KKK and all the other nonsense you keep preaching.
Very telling words. First I’m pleased to see he admits that gun control minimizing Gun Violence is debatable.
But if he admits its debatable, why is it he does everything any anything to avoid an actual debate of any kind?
I mean my support of the death penalty is certainly based on debatable grounds. Ie if it saves society money form housing dangerous criminals, or if it helps deter criminals away from capital offenses. Both are debatable and I’ve read a wealth of studies that support me, as well as refute me. If somebody wants to discuss the issue, you certainly won’t see me behaving like Mr. B.
Also if Sparky cares one whit about “Gun Death” and “Gun Violence”, why does his blog never mention when lawfully armed people fend off unlawfully armed ones?
Consulting Occam’s Razor seems to me that Mike is again lying.
At least he’s stupid enough to directly contradict himself in his statement so that we can easily show his dishonesty!
Funny that he says it’s not about bigotry against gun owners, yet every “reasonable” law that he pushes is only reasonable because it doesn’t affect him directly.
That fits the very definition of bigotry.
I am curious to see if he will take me up on my little offer…
In reality, the irony is that we are acting persecuted, because halfwitted jackasses like him are persecuting us. Limiting rights and imposing draconian restrictions are the very definition of persecution. But for him, it is “reaonable”.

I support the death penalty because I think it’s less cruel than imprisonment for life. I suppose one could refute that, depending on how one felt about grey bar vacations…but, if you are wrongly sentenced to life in prison, let us say for making a simplistic argument, at age 22 and you spend 20 years in prison before somebody comes up with evidence that supports it wasn’t you that committed the crime, you’re 42 years old and pretty much all of your life skills are based around dealing with being in prison, not living in free society.
Even if you get pardoned, what life do you have left?
I realize this is tangential to your intent of this post, but it’s an interesting question, is it not? I’d rather be shot at dawn than locked in a cage for a long time until people realized they made a mistake.
