The Slippery Slope

I like to point out that the people who preach gun control will be the same people to preach knife control if their insidious goals are ever reached. I mean in the end what’s the difference between a gun and a knife in the hands of a criminal? As a defensive tool the difference is quite noticeable, but on the offensive side most often they create wounds people survive from (tho any wounding is serious business) and while anti-rights advocates crow about the ability to “mow down people” and other such loaded terms, generally the victim in a shooting or a stabbing is singular, tho mass murder with both tools is something that is not uncommon.

Well the same goes for the TSA Nonsense.

I mean in the end what’s the difference between boarding a plane filled with people with a suitcase filled with semtex vs. a Bus? How about a train? Heck you wouldn’t even need to board the train, just set the bomb BESIDE the tracks and trip it as the train goes by! The slope is slippery!

The next step in tightened security could be on U.S. public transportation, trains and boats.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says terrorists will continue to look for U.S. vulnerabilities, making tighter security standards necessary.

“[Terrorists] are going to continue to probe the system and try to find a way through,” Napolitano said in an interview that aired Monday night on “Charlie Rose.”

“I think the tighter we get on aviation, we have to also be thinking now about going on to mass transit or to trains or maritime. So, what do we need to be doing to strengthen our protections there?”

Napolitano’s comments, made a day before one of the nation’s busiest travel days, come in the wake of a public outcry over newly implemented airport screening measures that have been criticized for being too invasive.

Of course this expansion of intrusive screening will come with the benefit of catching no terrorists and stopping no attacks. Again our #1 weapon in the war on terror is old-fashioned military intelligence and old-fashioned police work.

Hell ever seen a rush-hour traffic jam near a major US city? You don’t think a terrorist could rig his own personal car with a bomb and push the button in the middle of a traffic jam? Double the carnage by doing on a series of overpass bridges…or my biggest nightmare, the big dig.

You think once they have us complying to the current searches, and then get us to comply to mass transit searches your rights on the public road will remain intact?

I Don’t Think So!

We only have one option! Wise up. These security measures are NOT for our safety, they are theater for the stupid and submissive, and power for those addicted to it. Speak out against it to anybody who will listen, preferably to your representatives in the legislature, and have the people you talk to contact their representatives. Do NOT enter the X-ray scanners, not only do you not need the extra radiation for no security gain, but you should not comply for the convenience of these swine. Force them to grope you or send you on your way, and express your displeasure in the unpleasantness in their worthless theater.

We should be calling for nothing short of the abolition of the TSA. They serve no good, and are an expensive thorn in our day-to-day lives. Cut them loose!

  1. Planes, trains, and automobiles…wait, shoebombs, I guess I need to be secured before going on a walk, for the children and whatnot.

    Screw you TSA.

  2. eck! says:

TSA should do security, not inspections. Those that do not understand the difference are in trouble.

the problem is their process as it is creates choke points and anyone that understands military tactics will point out the best place to attack is any choke point as it’s high concentration of targets. Custer forgot that and well, history strikes. If the TSA was about security then they would be actively trying to insure choke point and high concentrations of people do not occur. Well then you wouldn’t have an audience to run your show in front of.

    Eck!
