A Dense Story

There’s a lot to talk about here:

In the school cafeteria late Monday morning, the sudden popping sound seemed entirely benign — someone opening a bag of chips or perhaps slamming a nearby door. Instead, it was gunfire, a 17-year-old student shot at Perry Hall High School on the first day of classes, and another student, 15, at the Baltimore County school soon taken into custody.

The victim, whose identity was not revealed, was taken by a Medevac helicopter to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was in critical condition, authorities said. Police also declined to identify the suspect, who witnesses said was grabbed by a guidance counselor and a teacher, who were able to wrestle the gun away from him and perhaps prevent further harm.

First I’m sure there will be talk of “Bullying” and more dumb school policies and restrictions will be done with without the least consideration for how rare this is, and how common the behavior that “Caused” this. It always boils down to crazy, and probably a shitty home life.

The shooting was stopped by a brave teacher who tackled the kid armed with a shotgun.

What didn’t stop this was laws against A) Underage Kid with a shotgun, B) Carrying a shotgun in Maryland (not sure if its illegal, but I doubt it WAS legal for a 15 year old on his way to school), C) Gun Free School Zone. D) All of Maryland’s list of bullshit gun laws E) MURDER! Not to mention the criminal threat, and attempted murder charges that can be sprinkled in.

Also let’s again note, your “Gun Free Zone” ain’t shit if people are acquiring bullet holes within its protective force field. And it is NOT the good people ignoring the laws.

Also when somebody pulls a weapon in a crowded place, you might as well consider yourself dead, act accordingly and take some chances, your situation can’t get any worse!

One story I read said the Shooter brought the Shotgun into school Disassembled, then put it back together before he went Hunting.

Sounds like this school needs the TSA and it’s Highly Trained Professional Molesters to be on the Job.
