Beta Male

Who would you rather emulate?

Or

One is the position of hand-wringing and victimhood, the other is looking for solutions and empowerment. More here and here.

The nice thing is that most of us have already chosen our side!

Both of your links go to the same Joe H page.
Yeah, the sides thing reminds me of A Girl and Her Gun and her piece.

  2. Old NFO says:

    Nice one! 🙂

  3. Isn’t he so sad?

One hopes, for his sake, that the criminals weren’t watching. The now know who to rob, rape, and murder.

    • Weerd Beard says:

      But Sean, he knows Kung-Fu!

      • Linoge says:

I am really starting to doubt that Baldr actually participates in Kung Fu… I have only been taking it for about fourish months now, and I have already lost about 10 pounds and about 5% bodyfat. But, then, I tend to take martial arts somewhat seriously, and actually attempt to do what the instructor is teaching us; somehow, I get the impression Baldr is more like the children who unfortunately run around our class, flailing through forms without any real snap, grace, or control.

        • Weerd Beard says:

Who knows, It could be one of the strip-mall schools with the “Master” with a pony tail and a beer gut, and he could spend most of his time talking about self-esteem and how drugs are bad.

There were a ton of “Karate Dojos” in the 80s that seemed to roll like that. I know a buddy of mine took Karate for years in the 80s, left with all sorts of pretty belts, and couldn’t fight his way out of a paper bag.

  4. Bob S. says:

According to Baldr, if a shooting involves everyone around the person then I’m a gun violence victim. In the 80’s, I “lived” through two episodes

My idiot younger brother shot himself in the leg while working as a security guard, he did it with a .22 revolver he stole from my dad. My Step Father was shot in the leg – of course he was on a drinking binge at the time and didn’t even remember being shot, much less who shot him.

So, does that make my response to gun violence just as valid as Baldr’s?

I’m not trying to deny people their rights. I’m not trying to push laws and regulations that have not been shown to work – anywhere !

    • Weerd Beard says:

See the key, Bob is if you’re a “Progressive” then you WANT to be a victim, and will look for any excuse to give yourself that exulted status.

Remember how Mike Bonomo was “Victim of Gun violence” because he had once stopped at the same Red Light in Vegas where Tupac was shot.

For those who weren’t rolling in the mud back then, he ACTUALLY said that.

That of course was before we found out he was a drug dealer, and probably has LOTS of stories he isn’t willing to share.

  5. Kerry says:

It has always seemed to me the ‘responses’ of groups and people like GVPC et. al., is some form of envy. They are the “only ones” who have the correct and proper answers, responses, and attitudes. Where, in any of all the candles and Kahrs photos was one word mocking the dead? Yet always their standard response is, “Look at those gun-rights extremists mocking the dead”. A thief looks at a Saint and sees only pockets.

Were the murdered students at Va. Tech cowering beneath their desks because they had no candles?

    • Weerd Beard says:

We were mocking their Methods for sure, as the candles do NOTHING, nor do their various foolish laws against lawful carry and various guns and accessories.

They know this as well…so they need to claim we’re going after victims of crime, because in their view of reality we MUST be monsters, and we MUST be vile.

If we’re kind, compassionate, educated, and caring people, then it isn’t very realistic that we’re spouse abusers and are shooting people for parking spaces or traffic accidents.

They must change us to fit their narrative….of course the “Change” only works in their bigoted eyes.

    • Pyrotek85 says:

They think we’re mocking the dead just by owning the same kinds of tools that were used in their ‘gun deaths’. Look at how they flipped out at the NRA for having their planned meeting and convention after the Columbine shooting (planned well in advance I might add). They acted as if all the gun owners should bow their heads in shame because of what some punks did. If they want me to apologize for what other people do they’re in for a long wait, because it’s not happening any time soon.

      • Weerd Beard says:

Just FYI the NRA Meeting was planned several YEARS in advance, and the location cannot by LAW be changed without one year’s notice.

So the NRA scrapped the convention down to the bare minimum of law vote and annual meeting and dispensed with the celebrations that anybody who’s been to a national meeting knows and loves.

The Colorado NRA meeting was one of the last Big Lies as the Antis began to lose their exclusive control of the media message.

It was also a time when the Pro-Freedom crowd was still losing ground and felt the need to apologize for things that weren’t any fault of ours or our system (The Girlfriend who bought several guns at the gun show KNOWING she’d be giving them to two violent convicted felons NEVER was charged for the crimes she did!)

now, thankfully we’ve come so far that we don’t have to take any guff from these swine, and can pay them no mind as we proceed to our goals.

IF that is true, then why does Joan Peterson own firearms?

She and her husband own guns and come from a hunting family. They keep the guns locked in a metal safe.
