Operators Are Standing By!

Just got word that good buddy and master gun-maker Wally has the first page of the York Arms Website up!

I have shot SEVERAL of Wally’s “Conspirator” AR-15s in various calibers and configurations from a Belt-Fed Full-auto .22 LR to a .300 BLK SBR. They are attractive and VERY well made, and at a damn good price. 100% American made, and since he runs a small boutique-type shop, he’s offering custom engravings and Serial Numbers at no additional charge.

I’ve also shot through his “Ally” .22 Suppressors both through pistols and rifles, all without hearing protection, and even using supersonic ammo they are still well below unpleasantly loud.

So go have a look at his pictures, prices, and options, and drop him an email at damon (at) yorkarms (dot) com or wally (at) yorkarms (dot) com.

Made in Maine, and that’s wicked sweet, guy!

I will certainly be getting a copy of one of the projects he’s currently working on as soon as he works out the finer details and I square away the funds.

See if anything interests you!

I need to get Wally to build me one… sigh… And your blog is DOG SLOW in loading…

    • Weerd Beard says:

Yeah you do! I bet you want a .300 BLK M4 WICKED bad, don’t you?

Yeah the site has been hanging from time-to-time, and other times runs normally.

I need to contact hosting and see if we can fix it.

Looks interesting. I need another AR 15.

I want to hear more about this belt fed full auto 22.

    Weerd,
Thanks for the kind words. I was kind of hoping to get the whole site up before going public, but what the hey- I appreciate the ink!
I’ll stand behind the intro offer for anyone who wants to get in on it too.

    Jimmie,
For the development of my .22 supressors, I needed a way to run them hard and I figured a 22 MG would do it. But I got bothered with painstaking loading and rapid emptying of magazines, so the logical step was to a belt fed platform. It’s a cute little gun and is a delight to shoot. No appreciable recoil and it’s quite affordable to feed.

    Thanks all!

Sorry for the slow load times… your hosting *cough* was screwing around with something that was apparently not worth the trouble. If it continues to be a problem, please let the appropriate folks *cough* know.

In other news, I, sadly, do not have the spare funds to swing another lower at the moment, but once Wally gets up to speed on producing his .22 suppressors (and if they are <1" external diameter), he and I are going to have to have a chat…

Last time I was in the shop he had a bunch in various phases of completion. I don’t have the full dimensions of the “Ally” cans, but if you want to do some comparative extrapolations here’s a picture of some of his wares after we put them through their paces. The two rifles are standard AR-15 “Conspirator” lowers with various uppers. So given that the lower dimensions are known values you might be able to get a good idea (btw the “Black” can baffle is simply what one of the ally cans looks like after several hundred rounds of various .22 LR have met their maker through it)

Drop him an email for further details.

As for the hosting issues, I knew you were trying some new things out. Given that it wasn’t THAT bad an issue, I was just waiting and seeing. You know I’m anything but shy! 8)
