Pocket Pistols of the Old West

Great video here.

I really like seeing the Cowboy Action guys shooting Double-Action guns. I’m a Double-Action revolver guy, I see fanning the hammer as a crutch for shooters with bad trigger pulls.

    “fanning” is not something that was seen often outside of Hollywood oaters, but the “slip hammer” was. lots of guns were modified for slip firing.

      Yeah well Dirty Harry or Walk Kilwalski would kick his ass!

      But that’s only because of the limitations of the VERY kickass Walker Colt! (Fucking love that movie BTW “Dyin’ ain’t much of a living”)

      (OK maybe not the High Plains Drifter….as well, I won’t spoil the ending)
