Quote of the Day: Joan

Joan knows us because she says so!

So far, no comments from the gun rights extremists are worth publishing. Come on guys, you can do better. “Dancing in the blood of victims”? Really guys. How rude and insensitive. I rest my case about everything I said in my post. I don’t believe you care about victims and are not interested in preventing shootings.

I know I called her a “Blood Dancer” when I sent her a copy of “Too many Victims” this morning.

Joan’s good at reading posts sent to her, so I suspect she read it. So there it is, She thinks our time is better spent ringing bells and lighting candles than carrying defensive arms.

Also if you’re one of those people I mentioned who defended your life, Joan would have rather you take your chances with your dangerous threat.

This is the best the anti-gun people can argue. I’m glad because I like my freedom and I like my life.

I just used my firearm on Sunday, protecting myself and my daughter from an attack. I’m actually planning to write a post about it later. To know that if she had her way, my daughter and I would have been helpless against two opponents and another vehicle that had me blocked on one end makes me angry. I have the right to protect my family, and if she has her way, I hate to think about what would have happened.

  2. George says:

I love how she can dismiss any criticism as “rude and insensitive.” Apparently pointing out her logical flaws is rude.

  3. Randy Blake says:

There is not much you can say about her except she’s a flamin idiot, and one of these days it’s going to come home and roost on her head! Never try to win an argument with an Idiot, you’ll just become frustrated…

    • RedeemedBoyd says:

You mean, they will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience. 🙂

    • Weerd Beard says:

Nope, She’ll never go through the process I did as a Young Proponent of Gun Control and say “Hey this stuff doesn’t work, but the stuff I’m fighting against DOES work…I thought re-think my position.” She’s too far in and done so much that she’ll come to regret if she was to ever admit a mistake.

Still sunlight makes an amazing disinfectant, and exposure of her ideology and words does a wonder of good for anybody wondering who’s on the right side of the issue, or like me thought the anti-side sounded like a good one, but haven’t yet looked deep into the issue.

  4. I posted. I wonder if she will approve it.

  5. She did. Here was my response( basically, i cant remember exactly what i said) in she doesn’t post me again…

This will be my last comment, but I do find it interesting that for a group that claims to care so much about people, you didn’t offer me one bit of concern. You didn’t say, gee that must have been hard or I am sorry for your daughter. You just said I missed the point. I think I got it. Loud and clear. Me, the person, the victim, doesn’t matter at all to you.

  6. Linoge says:

    Dear Joan:

How, exactly, does ringing a bell and holding some lit candles prevent shootings? For that matter, how, exactly, does disarming potential victims show that you “care about victims” and those who could become victims?

    Sincerely,
    The World.

  7. “So far, no comments from the gun rights extremists are worth publishing.”

You mean they are “not worth publishing because they are counter to your logic”? That would be far more appropriate. I posted 14 times on your failing blog and not one comment was approved though I remained completely professional, courteous, and respectful of someone else’s blogspace. Come to my blogspace sometime. I will post your comments and offer an intelligent and logical reply to anything you post, so long as you act like an adult about it. Assuming you are capable of such a feat.

So sick of manipulative sacks of flesh like Joan. I would submit that her punishment should be that she lives in a world that is exactly what she thinks it should be. Of course that means she would have to leave America.

      Reasoned Discourse strikes again!

“So far, no comments from the gun rights extremists are worth publishing.”

What I hate about this is that we have to take her word for it. By not publishing any comments from our side, she can frame the discussion however she wants in order to make her side look better. Common tactic of disinformation campaigns everywhere.

      • Weerd Beard says:

Why do you think there are such vile and rude comments with threats of violence against anti-rights activists, when all we see on our side are gentle, polite people, who at the worst are just passionate about retaining and/or regaining their rights.

By hiding the evidence they can claim any story they want. Notice in the recent blogger hit-piece they never even quote complete sentences, let alone complete thoughts. That makes it easier to frame their argument any way they want.

They NEED to lie, otherwise they have to admit defeat!
