Stupid Games, Stupid Prizes!

LOL this reminds me of the squirrels that wander into the lightning breaker on my power lines.

That’s just nasty!

This (with birds) is one reason I put a screen over my dryer vent! (The main reason is that the nest in the vent hose was keeping my clothes from getting dry, along with being a fire hazard.)

I actually used a downspout strainer (I think the one I used was a 4″, but I don’t see that on the website). It just slips in at the end and expands so that the tension keeps it in place, and doesn’t change the outside appearance like the outer covers do (and is about 2/3 the price).

When I used to work up in Maine at a remote field research station, on the list of jobs to open the station up in spring, it said in bold letters to run the walk-in reefer system for 12 hours, then power down for 3 hours and scrape out the burned stoats that you BBQ’d in the heat exchanger. They overwintered in the compressor chamber every damn year. Not mice, but stoats. The good part is that the tails stayed together even when cooked, so the sooty remains had handles.
