“Gun Death” Falling TVs

What does this sound like to you?

More than 17,000 children — one every 30 minutes — are treated in emergency rooms across the country for TV-related injuries every year, and the rate of kids hurt from TVs tipping over has nearly doubled in two decades, according to a study to be released Monday by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Prompted in part by a rash of TV-related deaths in the Chicago area, the study found that close to 400,000 children were rushed to hospital ERs from 1990 to 2011 with injuries that included concussions, lacerations and traumatic brain injuries. Children ages 5 and younger were the most vulnerable.

Sounds a lot like the “Gun Death” rantings…but this is falling TVs, not guns or bullets. Since only “Gun Deaths” count to these jackals, they are silent to this.

Why does anybody need a big screen TV? Isn’t a normal size TV large enough for you to watch everything on? Does the programming get better on a normal size TV?

Aren’t people who buy big screen TVs just compensating for the small size of their private parts?
