In Maine we have a LOT of Lumberjack shows, I friggin’ LOVE them. It has all the beauty of practical pistol shooting, as you can see where real people would use these skills, or imagine a bunch of loggers at the log camp after a hard day’s work doing a little informal competition.
Can you belive this guy is from the same state as Stewart Smally and Joan Peterson of the Brady Campaign?

We should give that guy a V-8 powered chainsaw!
What the heck are you implying about Minnesotah?
Why Paul Bunyan was Minnesotan!!
BTW Al Franken aka Stewart Smally has had an ethics charge leveled against him

DOAH, I went to that site and clicked on the “District Map” button and read “Minnesota” and assumed that was the state pictured.
I would have known better if it showed the whole state.
And still I invite Stewart Smally and Joan Peterson to kiss my ass! 😀
Flatlander?
Screw you asshat!!
Fucking jerk!
You should have learned in School, Bunyan is from M A I N E! More specifically Bangor (and its pronounced BANG-gore, NOT BANG-er) 😉
Lumberjacks are awesome! Back at Texas A&M when we built the 70 ft bonfire on campus (mid 90s), we chopped down the trees with axes. Nothing like waking up at 4am on a Saturday to go and chop down trees.
Dad heated the house with wood as best he could (we did have an Oil burner too, but we did our best to keep it working very little), and Dad is the type of guy who doesn’t see a lot of need of doing hard labor when you have a teenage boy sleeping under your roof.
I’d generally be out by 5:30 to split and lug in wood. Little different, little the same.
