Police State: Watertown

Wow, So I’ve heard a lot of stories saying that the Watertown house searches were done with home owner’s permission, and even accounts of police standing down when the home owners did not consent, this shows something more illegal:

That’s a single-family house, and obviously nothing was found and nobody was arrested. There certainly wasn’t consent given as there was no time.

Further I get a chill as I had my rifle by the ready as the lockdown persisted, and I would have investigated pounding at my door with a long-arm. Do you think if any of the occupants were armed it would have gone as smoothly?

Overall I’m impressed with accounts of how Massachusetts law enforcement acted, also while I think the martial law thing was carried on for too long (I still think that if Boston had been allowed to have its usual Friday rush hour it would have provided more targets for escape and/or violence from the fugitive) I can understand the police resistance to end the lockdown without a suspect in custody.

Still this event captured on video is nothing short of shameful.

Honestly, I think your answer is simple . . . had you met a pounding at the front door with your long gun, you family would be sitting at your funeral. These cops were in full combat mode. So many photos have come up with them muzzeling a resident – one a mother and child. Honestly, the cop saw them as a mortal threat?

I lose confidence in the individal LEO more and more every day. This will all end badly one day . . . .

Yep, and think of how foolish the home owner was for answering the door unarmed!

Police openly said on the airwaves NOT to answer your door to ANYBODY but uniformed police, and to stay inside away from windows. Knock at the door…who is it?

I hate scary no-win situations like this!
