Went out to do some errands after lunch, and just down the street I almost got smacked by some asshole running a red light.
I took evasive action and got though the intersection before I even knew what had happen. As I drove away I saw a police cruiser pop his lights and give chase in my rear view mirror.
The saying goes when seconds count the Police are minutes away. That’s the rule but there is always an exception.
With the police right there, it was still up to you to avert the situation. If you hadn’t responded, all they could have done is take the report, try to run the bad guy down, etc.
