“Gun Death” Baby Stroller

If there’s any better example of how foolish those who use the metric “Gun Death” are its this.

A Connecticut man used a baby stroller and his fists to beat a woman unconscious and then threw the stroller at a car trying to drive her to safety.

Matthew Christopher Bailey, 46, was facing charges of breach of peace, third-degree criminal mischief and two counts each of first-degree assault and risk of injury to a minor after the Wednesday incident

A baby stroller. See the tool is really irrelevant if somebody has violence in their heart. That being said, wouldn’t it be nice if the woman, or the driver of the car had a gun so maybe it didn’t go as far as it did?

Those who preach gun control, and talk about preventing “Gun Death” are doing nothing to stem violent crime…but they are doing quite a bit to steam defensive violence.

There’s a reason why the belt of a Police Officer has changed a lot over the centuries, and while the gun on that belt has changed so much, but there has always been a gun. Be it a black-powder flintlock pistol, or a percussion revolver, to a polymer frame S&W M&P in the new-fanged .357 Sig cartridge, as well as pepper spray, flex cuffs, and a taser with drive-stun option. They still feel the need to make room for guns and ammo on that belt.

Its the same reason why carpenters are still carrying hammers, and plumbers still carry pipe wrenches. When it comes to the best tool for the job, accept no substitutes.

Unless you’re one of these jerks who like infringing on rights. They just hope there’s a good Samaritan, or a police officer to come to your rescue.

Of course since I reside on the side of freedom so I have no issue with people who prefer to depend on others for their mortal safety, they are welcome to do that now and forever. Of course they want me to join them. I don’t wanna!
