So I saw this post by Bluesun that made me laugh. Not being familiar with the genre I followed it to this video.
I realized, yeah man, I dig me some dub-step! Found this, and I thought it dovetailed nicely with the last song, and the dancer is king-shit!
Yeah!

I watched the bottom video and looked for camera tricks. I didn’t see any. There are cars visible in the glass doors behind him and they didn’t seem to change speed when he did.
yeah, it’s all legit. Watch his face, he’s keeping time with the cues.
I know who the character Hank Hill is…
My wife showed me a dub step video a couple of months ago, crazy stuff! Must take incredible muscle control and memory
I see how you found the dubstep version of yesterday’s song! I swear, there’s one for everything!
Hahahahaha, nice. I’ve been listening to dubstep for a little while now…I like more of the atmospheric stuff as opposed to the “BASS BASS BASS WUBWUBWUBWUB BAAAAASSSSS” style found in most “mainstream” dubstep…it does depend on the artist for me, tho. I only like one or two songs of Skrillex’s stuff but love the dubstep that Excision puts out. Here’s an example.
Cool! I like my Electronic to be odd distortion sounds and crazy beats.
This is a wicked cool song! Thanks!
Also as a guy who used to drag a tuba around I have a STRONG affinity for sub-harmonics, and the fact that most dubstep drag the melody around by a bass line that’s at the low hertz limits of sounds, I dig on that.
For some reason, I’ve liked dubstep since the first time I heard it. I don’t know why, I just dig it.
i can’t get into dubstep. every time i hear the WUBWUBWUBbuzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzWUBWUBWUB i want to stab things.
I find it satisfying because the sounds are so unique and crazy…also most of those thumping breakdowns are in 6/8 time which in a world of 4/4 most most music, and 3/4 cordoned off into the Waltz genre, 6/8 is a rare and strange bird, and always attracts my interest.
Infected Mushroom has been doing a bunch of 6/8 hooks in their Trance music too which I rather enjoy as well.
to each his own. 😛 i kinda wish it didn’t make me furious at a visceral level. i’d like to give it a chance, you know? i just…need to kill something every time i hear it.
Well sometimes somethings need killin’ don’t make it sound like such a bad thing! 🙂
Wait, that’s a bad thing?
As they say: “It’s All Good!”
Which is amusingly enough the exact response Japanese will answer to such a query. “Ii Desu nee!”
The guy in the second video goes by the name “NonStop”.. He’s part of a group called “Remote Kontrol” and NonStop has a great series of videos. I only recently learned about the genre of ‘dubstep’ and it’s definitely something to watch.
