Not my video. I did have a similar experience with some ducklings I hatched. In that case Mom’s job was laying eggs for making ducklings, not turning the ducklings into ducks. So in this case I was the momma!
That does look like a case of imprinting. I’d have picked the little fellow up and carried him, just to get a chance to pet that down, and yes, I do know what ducks leave behind, in front, and to the sides.
Where was Mom during this?
