“Gun Death” Suicide

Gross!

Hernando County sheriff’s investigators concluded Thursday that a “very unusual death investigation” was the result of a suicide.

Workers cleaning out a home at 6527 Treehaven Drive in Spring Hill thought they found a mannequin hanging in the garage on Thursday morning and took it with of a pile of debris in the back of a pickup truck to the dump, said Hernando Sheriff Al Nienhuis.

Employees at the West Hernando Transfer Station, 2525 Osowaw Blvd, questioned the workers about the body but were told it was a mannequin, Nienhuis said.

They called authorities and deputies found the “somewhat mummified” remains of **REDACTED**, 33, in a bin at the landfill, Nienhuis said.

Authorities found a suicide note scrawled on the wall at the home on Treehaven Drive that **REDACTED** shared with his then girlfriend and several children before they broke up and were evicted. They believe **REDACTED** hung himself in the garage and had been dead for several weeks but not more than a 1 1⁄2 months, Nienhuis said.

Nasty! Good thing he didn’t shoot himself! That would have been a “Gun Death”.

Holli-Daze

Back from my Holiday in Maine. It was AWESOME! Everybody had a great time and I got SLEEEP! Seriously one morning I was sleeping in my childhood bedroom with the baby in a crib at the foot of my bed and she started talking. I was laying there waiting for her to possibly fall back asleep…when my Mom came into the room, grabbed the baby and hauled her off for some serious grand-parents spoiling, and I fell back asleep for another HOUR!

For those who don’t have children, you may not understand the bliss of this!

Yeah so great Christmas!

Also because all of you will love this, Daddy got a Ghillie Suit!

Hunters

And LaWeer’da Killed a Bear….it was Maine so we baited it! LaWeer’da baited this large specimen in with nothing but Clementine Oranges and baby talk!

Dad saw one of these suits at the LL Bean Employee store ages ago, but hesitated and lost it to another employee. Since then he realized they’re a hot commodity, and didn’t let this one get past him! I’m DEEPLY amused!

My Mom is NOT amused! 🙂

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas or whatever else you did over the last few days!

Regular posting to resume in a bit!

“Gun Death” Dirty Deeds

Yeah, don’t deal with stupid people doing stupid things:

An Illinois woman who helped lure two men to a drinking session to rob them for money for cigarettes, gasoline and cocaine, was found guilty on Friday of six counts of first degree murder after her friends allegedly strangled the two men.

…errance **DEPARTED**, both 22, were robbed and strangled in a duplex in Joliet – a town outside Chicago – in January 2013.

The killers did this for cash. Remember, the antis say don’t carry a gun because what you have isn’t worth killing for, but what if what you have is worth it to the criminals to kill for?

Also they were killed for cocaine money. The antis want to make guns as illegal as cocaine. How well do you think that’ll work?

“Gun Death” Fireworks Mishap

Fireworks are banned in several states, but really they aren’t very dangerous. Still accidents can happen:

One person died and another was injured after an explosion in a suburban garage in Arlington.

Arlington police said two men in their 20s were tampering with fireworks in a garage Thursday night around 11 p.m. on Hedgeapple Court. Emergency personnel on the scene described the explosion as a quick flash fire.

The New Year is coming, and shooting off fireworks is a fun way to ring in the New Year. Still, be safe out there!

“Gun Death” Brass Knuckles

Now I hate the elevation of certain simple weapons to some horrible deadly weapon. Be this the Hollywood overplayed switchblade, the sap and blackjack impact weapons, or the stupidly simple brass knuckle:

Two California women have been arrested in the beating death of a 65-year-old man at a train station in Los Angeles two months ago.

Investigators said **REDACTED** approached the 65-year-old bystander and began arguing with him.

The verbal dispute quickly escalated and turned physical, with the 24-year-old **REDACTED** allegedly using brass knuckles to beat up the stranger without any provocation.

Now brass knuckles or knuckle dusters are illegal to carry in California, as well as many other states. Still acquisition of these items are stupidly easy, from buying them through the mail with the agreement that it will not be used as a weapon, or through places that sell “novelty paperweights” that just so happen to be shaped like the simple weapon.

Either way, it would be silly to blame the tool for this vicious murder. Still the peddlers of “Gun Death” want to do just that, but only for guns because guns are different…somehow.

Images of the Antis: Precious To You

Man antis are a bunch of hateful jerks!

Baldr Precious

Let’s just run down this image. Of course we first have the anti-gun blackface. The gun owner is leering, in an armored bunker (because us gunnies don’t live in “NORMAL” homes), dressed in hunter garb even at home, and is overweight.

Also we have a strawman of a false dichotomy. For gun owner, they can only love inanimate objects, and they can’t have a family or human loved ones. Also again self defense is ignored by the antis. Have they considered the fact that you might save the lives of those precious to you with your gun? How about saving your own life and the impact of that on your loved one?

Of course they have, but they don’t like that much, so it can be discarded.

Also I have to wonder about how often these images have the “Gun Nut” dressed in hunting garb. It’s a bit odd to me because I own guns they totally hate. From “high-capacity” semi-autos to military weapons, but I don’t own any hunting garb because I don’t hunt. I have a few blaze orange items, but nothing I’d feel comfortable wearing in the woods at hunting season.

Still it seems that the hunters are just as much the target of the antis as the more tactical shooters. It’s pretty obvious, they don’t care WHAT guns you own, or what conditions you shoot them in, they want to ban them all!

“Gun Death” Child OD

There’s more to this story than what is given:

The mother and great-grandmother of a 15-month-old who died of a drug overdose pleaded guilty to the young girl’s death.

…According to the police report, the girl was in the care of her great-grandmother, **REDACTED**. Howard told police she gave the baby a bottle of soy milk before bed and that nothing seemed unusual.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office later ruled Riley Mackey died of acute oxycodone intoxication. Police did not say where the child got access to the narcotic painkiller.

They don’t say how the kid got the opiates in her system, but there were a pair of guilty pleas, so I assume the both of them had a good idea.

Really sick, but not a “Gun Death”.
