Back

Got back from the NE Blogger shoot after dark, cleaned the Mosin Nagant I brought as that was the only gun I shot with corrosive ammunition hopped in the shower and went to bed.

Check the usual Northeast Types to see what they have for updates, also those of you I was hanging out with feel free to email and post pictures.

I’ll be spending the better part of the day in the hospital as the Mrs. is going through her pre-operative tests and meetings for her surgery at the end of this month, so blogging should be light.

I brought my camera, and just as I suspected I didn’t take a single picture during the whole shoot. When surrounded by that many cool people with cool guns, the last thing on my mind is the shutter button.

Still Jay’s and I were talking getting a picture exchange so we can all share the love.

    Ain’t that the truth, brotha!

I took a handful of pictures, but when there’s things that go PFFT! PFFT! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT! … well, that beats the hell out of “click click click”. 😀

    Weer’d,

Thoughts and prayers for your Missus today. Hoping that all goes well and the news is nothing but good.

Seems that the waiting and testing is often the hardest –definitely the longest- part of the process.

Will I get to meet the Missus someday if I’m very, very good? 🙂

      Weer’d,

Pleasure to meet you this past week-end.

You and the missus are in my thoughts…whatever it is that is being tested for, I truly hope the news is good…

      Regards,

      Dragon

        The pleasure was all mine.

As for the wife, she’s epileptic, and has been getting worse for a good while now, with medication only keeping the grand mals under check, so we’ve done a battery of exhaustive tests and medication trials and surgery is our best bet, today was just the pee and blood test parts, as well as meeting with various wrenches who will be working on her on the big day. There was also an EEG research project the wife volunteered for that we should have done, but she ended up having a seizure as we were heading up to the floor, and the researcher said in her current condition it wouldn’t be good for the tests, so we’ll have to reschedule or drop out of the study. I’ll probably put a post up on it tomorrow.

It was great to meet you, and see your wares up-close.

Sure, we just need to plan something a little less shooty. She likes guns just fine, but couldn’t handle a long day like yesterday. We could always grab a bite or get together and do something fun. FYI I’ve been pimping this to Jay, but we have memberships to the Aquarium which can get people in for free or deep discount.

And of course there’s always a range trip!

You have my email, we can talk!
