I guess it was suggested that a Kindergarten group sing “God Bless the USA” in a Kindergarten graduation. The Principal wouldn’t let them, so a local Politician hosted them in the playground to sing it.
What were they met with? “Progressives”!
Its a shame as the kids are really too young to understand this. Certainly the Principal did what he felt was right, and the response was acceptable….meanwhile the “Progressives” had every right to be there too.
But it doesn’t make you look very good shouting and swearing at kids while they’re trying to sing a patriotic song. This is “Progress” in their eyes.
They’re kids, and we live in the United States for fuckssake! What the hell is wrong with these people?!
It’s not news that patriotism is a dirty word in the urban core. Let’s get kids like these out from between the angry adults and back into the classroom learning STEM

It’s not their fault though. It was Turner’s fault for using kids for his political ends.
At least that is what I have been told by said ‘progressives.’
The real story here is the kids standing up to them at about 3:45. I loved the kid shouting, “watch your mouth” and want to sponsor the kid who keeps saying, “don’t talk to my mama that way!”
This is why I don’t attend protests. Everyone shouts at once, and little to nothing gets accomplished. I do have to say that I don’t see much about some basic patriotism that will corrupt these “babies”–any more, that is, than the failing schools they attend will do.
