No, Dear Friends, This Wasn’t Me

Sent by friends who know me well:

A West Seattle house was set on fire by a man trying to kill a spider with a makeshift blow torch.

…Firefighters say the man who rented the house was trying to kill a spider in the laundry room with a can of spray paint and a lighter. The flames quickly spread through the room and into the attic.

“I saw flames coming out of the side of the house and heard popping sounds,” said neighbor Sue Green.

While I have exterminated insects with flamable liquids, often in an FAE fashion, I am super safe (within reason) and always do it OUTSIDE and away from flammable structures, and with ample water supply near at hand.

Be safe out there people…but being safe does not mean NOT having a good time, or killing pests!

    on that note…..
searching for various demotivational posters whose first statement usually starts with,
“There was a spider…….” is NOT a good thing to search for just before going to bed….
