Arson and Stabbing

Another tale for the “Gun Death?” file. This time a stabbing and a fire.

Columbus Fire & EMS is investigating an arson that is linked to the stabbing death of a Columbus man on Monday.

Investigators say the fire broke out at the home on the 5700 block of Tappan Street on Wednesday morning. They say the fire was intentionally set. However, at this point investigators say they are unsure how the fire started. It did about $65,000 in damage to the structure and to its contents.

For those fixated on the tools used to commit a crime, rest easy that no guns were used. Otherwise somebody might have gotten hurt!
