A great “Gun Death?” story coming from reader “CB” via Sailor Curt. And its from the UK!
The trial of a lazy son accused of killing his parents after they argued when they found him lying in bed with a hangover at lunchtime continued Wednesday.
Daniel Dighton, 35, stabbed his father, Barry, four times and his mother, Elizabeth, 20 times when they came home from a shopping trip in September last year.
OK I’ll admit, My Folks have found me hungover at noon (tho generally hangovers wake me up) but man maybe that was when I was 21 or 22 at the oldest…35???
And his solution was to STAB his parents to death. So not only does this show how stupid reducing “Gun Death” is as a cause….but also shows how swimmingly the UK Knife laws are doing.
Of course I have little faith that the jerks in the UK will flush this miserable turd, but we can hope.
But Weer’d this couldn’t have happened, especially not in the UK — guns are banned – there shouldn’t be violence.
Heck, knives are even strictly controlled — this is double unpossible. I guess it is the parent’s fault for not securing those deadly kitchen knives.
Of course we don’t know if it was a 2″ paring knife or an assault style 9″ butcher knife — better ban all knives just to be safe.
