Here’s a recent story I got wind of.
The FBI says it is joining the hunt for a killer who has strangled at least two women in Philadelphia.
Agents from a behavioral analysis unit at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Va., will create a profile of the attacker, bureau spokesman J.J. Klaver told The Philadelphia Inquirer.
All the stories I’m hearing are talking about a serial strangler. Pretty scary, don’t ya think? Not too scary to those who consider “Gun Death” to be a valid metric, because strangling deaths simply don’t count, and aren’t worth note.
Oh joy, and yet the overlords in Philly have decided that the peons must have a permit to carry a firearm for self-defense.
And If what I read is correct. Philly illegally denies permit applications for reasons like misdermenor convictions and arrests without finding.
That’s where the “Florida Loophole” comes from. Florida is MORE restrictive than PA when it comes to permits, only Philly is illegally “may issue” so for some (Like people like myself who have been arrested but not convicted of anything ) Florida is a valid way to carry in your own home state.
