Gun Death: Unarmed

I wonder if the anti-rights forces ever succeed with “Gun Death” if they’ll turn to “Knife Death” but what next?

Wheeling police spoke out for the first time Monday about the beating death of area businessman Travis Hocutt.

The Benwood man, 37 , was the owner of Hocutt’s Carolina Barbecue at 14 and Main Streets in Wheeling died on Friday, reportedly of critical injuries he suffered in a beating on Saturday Oct. 9.

Amputations for all! Or we could work to stop violent crime! Nahh that might work!

This highlights one of the many illogical points of the antis — the belief that everyone is equally capable of physical action and violence.

Some people just aren’t as strong, aren’t as prepared to inflict the necessary physical punishment with their hands or feet. And having been in some fights, I can tell you it takes a different mindset to be able to punch someone hard enough to put them down.

But the antis think that everyone would be equal if there weren’t any firearms, I don’t get that mind set.

Oh, and aren’t beatings supposed to be non-fatal?

Yeah those focused on tools (both as items to restrict…but also as items to restrict other’s behaviors. “We don’t need gun rights in Europe, most of the criminals around here don’t have guns like they do in the US!” (Tho often that statement is untrue)

People who are fixated on tools often have difficulty accepting that somebody might be beaten to death with a baseball bat, a rock, a brick, some work boots, or bare hands. They have built an alternate reality where such horrors cannot occur.
