So Alan decided to dump last-night’s live bridge for Vicious Circle, sorry for all who attempted to tune in. The MP3 is up for all who are interested. Its Vicious Circle #63, and at least its better than Avatar! And FYI Kevin I was totally looking forward to watching The Expendables but now that Mr. “Go see Avatar, the plot sucks, but the visuals are totally worth it” *spit* says its a good “Summer Blow-up Movie” I wonder…. (I kid Kevin!)
So the wife and I are heading out of town for the week, I’ve syndicated a bunch of posts for the following week, so the site won’t totally go dark. Certainly some posts might call for some discussion. Carry on, and I’ll chime in when I return.

I saw Expendables yesterday. It was about what you would expect for a movie written and directed by Sylvester Stallone.
Avatar: Plot does suck (at least the first 30 minutes), and the visuals are about equal with the plot (then again I was seeing it on an airplane screen and not in 3D). From others that have seen it, they say it is not worth seeing unless it is in 3D.
Avatar was a “popcorn movie.” Watch it, look at the pretty pictures, throw popcorn at the screen when something silly happens.
The Expendables is just a dude movie. I must complain that do not have “all the movie heroes,” though– they’re missing Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan, Robert Duvall and Jesse Ventura.
