You might wind up as a Statistic
Los Angeles County prosecutors filed the charges against Sophia Cristo and Rodolfo Lopez on Friday. The pair was arrested in Horizon City, Texas, Wednesday, two days after Jack Dell Bezner and his wife Susan were found stabbed to death in their home in Rosemead.
Details are pretty light in this story, but what I see is a bunch of young kids breaking into an older couple’s house and stabbing them to death. Their deaths won’t count as “Gun Death”, but what the antis forget is they use both sides of the coin for their numbers. the oft touted 30,000 annual “Gun Deaths” in this country (about 17,000 are suicides) this includes Police shootings and self-defense shootings, like if this couple had a shotgun or pistol handy when these creeps broke in.
Authorities are seeking the death penalty, I have my doubts about it.
I do indeed have a plan- which includes actions my family is to take. Both the wife and 17 year old are trained (the 17 year old has been accompanying me to training sessions- in May it was a tactical carbine course, this coming mon-wed is the tactical pistol course). While me wife wont join in the son and I practice sweep and clear of the house every few months.
The real plan is to vacate if possible since getting into a gunfight in my house means a chance of death for me or the family. Currently there is nothing in my house worth dieing for- barring family. However, the sweep and clear and other action drills are in case someone in the family is trapped or fighting for their lives. In that case we will be coming to get them.
