How’s the Wife?

I get that a lot. Here’s a little story from today. Got a call in the Lab, and the Mrs. was just calling to say “Hi”, but also wanted to mention that she’d heard animal noises from one corner of the house. We’ve heard them before, and I chalked it off to critters running across the roof which is very close to the problem area. I was just about to tell her I’d do a full sweep of the house when I got home when she told me she had gone outside to look for any disturbance, and looked into the crawl-space in the attic to see if any critters or signs could be fine. She declared the house “Clean” of any intruders.

So yeah she’s doing VERY well. Also I’ll add its been 3 weeks since her last seizure. Now that’s a substantial number. I think without a doubt the surgery has done some marked good. The question will remain for some time on HOW MUCH good.

As the surgeon said on Monday: “Everything looks good, and I’m glad we did the surgery.”

Me too!

And in the midst of our hectic chaotic lives, we have much to be thankful for.

I am so thankful that your Missus is doing better and you are there for her. Keep up the support.

One of my favorite sayings “Most couples deserve each other”, you and the Missus seem to show the positive of that statement.

  2. Yay! That’s fabulous to hear. So happy for you both. 😀

  3. Glad to hear all’s well.

My own ability to deal with brain stuff seriously has been a bit borked lately, so I have only one question: did they let you keep the brain bits?

heh, no they’re doing a full histology workup on all tissue removed, so they’re made into BORING slides. Tho maybe I can get some of those.

I’ve already told the Mrs. that I’m totally putting up a “Before” and “After” Brain pix when we get the most recent MRI DVD!

Fingers crossed and prayes filed for the procedure to have been the cure!

Amd I wrong in thinking that Weer’d would be working on brain-infused vodka ?
