A recent pleasure of mine is watching Ren and Stimpy Re-Runs on netflix instant view. I enjoyed the shit out of them in my youth. Heck, even my Mother who has vastly more delicate sensibilities than I had a special place in her heart for Ren’s Outbursts. I was terribly amused when I found out the origins of Ren’s Voice:

is actually a mixture of Peter Lorre and a slight Mexican accent (He is a Chihuahua after all)
I think the ending of Maltese Falcon best sums up Ren’s origins. **SPOILER ALERT**
And Stimpy:
Mostly he’s just Larry Fine from the Three Stooges!
You’ll never watch the show the same again!
