What a great day! Lovely crisp fall day, and the wife and I went to the Topsfield fair.
Had a great time. Ate junk food, saw duck races, cows, chickens, turkeys, bees, assorted show birds, MASSIVE pumpkins, and even an Elephant. Much fun was had by all. This is my first agricultural fair in Mass, and I was amused at the diversity of food. Generally its french fries, fried dough, hotdogs, hamburgers, Italian sausages, kielbasa, and kettle corn, but at this fair there was BBQ galore, tacos and fajitas, tempura, chinese food, all sorts of neat stuff. But I had Gołąbki (I forget how they spelled it on the stand, but I chickened out and didn’t trust my gut, and Polish fishermen and say “go-WAMP-ki”. It was most excellent!
Was a fine day in Ohio at the Northcoast BlogShoot also. They’ll be some interesting pictures of Jay G. on the Web in the next couple of days (snicker,snicker).
