PSA

They say the temperature is going to get close to 100 today with high humidity. To avoid being like our Lt. Governor and getting yourself hospitalized for heat-related illness I recommend the following things.

Stay out of the sun if you can.

If you are in the sun wear sunscreen and re-apply regularly.

Drink lots of water, you should be urinating fairly frequently if you are hydrated.

Check on elderly neighbors and relatives to make sure they are cool and hydrated.

Lastly, if you are a young attractive female, the best way to avoid heat-related illness is to wear as little clothing as possible. Check your local obscenity laws and strive to meet the bare minimum!

Remember its your health I’m concerned with!

Also, remind these nubile young women that while wearing said skimpy clothing, it is very refreshing to run through sprinklers, have water gun fighs, and cool off with a cold shower from a garden hose.

Also, a bra is just an added layer of heat trapping clothing.

Also, white makes an excellent choice for an outer layer due to it not absorbing heat, but dark colors for undergarments will help due to black-body radiation.

I’m with DaddyBear and MikeW. on this one. Undergarments just trap heat and moisture close to the skin and should be shed. Tho white outer garments are VERY good at reflecting heat, and also aid when you are playing in the sprinkler! : ]

You northeastern lightweights need come down to Austin and enjoy the over 90 for at least 6 months of the year.
We have plenty of braless coeds and the occasional topless (especially at eyeore’s birthday) and a few crossdressers for those of you into that sort of thing.

Oh yeah, you guys definitely win out when it comes to heat. Still I don’t see you looking to come up here in January when the sun sets at 3:30 and the weather needs to be handled with a shovel and an ice scraper!
