Don’t confuse my Exuberance at the status of Elections right now as Partisan Glee, I’m just as happy to see people like Mike Castle, and Lisa Murkowski get kicked to the curb, and I sure as hell hope it also goes for political Cro-Magnons like Huckabee, Romney, McCain, Collins, and Snowe, among many-many others.
The Tea Party leans right, but its heartbeat is anti-incumbent and fiscal conservatism. I’d like to hope there’s a good helping of Social Liberty mixed in there, but that might be asking too much at this juncture. Just remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day!
