Seem to be undergoing a pretty nasty spam attack over the last few days. Because of this high volume of spam, it increased the chances of legitimate posts getting permanently deleted. On normal days if your post doesn’t show up, and you know you’re not a known troll, just wait a few hours for me to check the logs and your post will appear…today I’d prefer you to re-post (maybe without html code if you know that was there) or send me an email at weerdbeard (AT) gmail (com) to let me know the spam trap ate something good.
Usually these things don’t last very long, so hopefully it will all clear out by the weekend.
You running Askimet? I never have any problems, besides the occasional false positive.
Yeah, it runs well, but just when there’s 30 spams in the trap I may not look over every one to verify it is indeed junk.
Seems to have settled down anyway.
