Neat huh? Very interesting for a Brady Campaign board member to claim the world disappears when you close your eyes. Let’s try a little exercise.
Go out driving. Make a few turns you’ve never known before and drive down the road. Make your best effort NOT to look at the posted speed signs. Drive as fast as you can keep the car on the road. When the Police Officer pulls you over inform him you were unaware that there even was a posted speed limit.
At my gun club on separate occasion saw:
A young Child digging through the brass bucket for souvenirs.
A Man with a 12 round Magazine for his S&W M&P40
Both of these people were committing a felony. I informed them of this. The kid and his guardian had no idea that somebody without an FID or LTC couldn’t posses spent shell casings. The guy with the high-cap assumed since nobody stopped him or asked for ID when he bought the magazine in Maine that it was perfectly legal.
Caleb has this little walkthrough on how to commit a very nasty federal felony without ever having to fill out a bit of paperwork or show an ID. Hell just buying all of those items and not even taking them out of the package could be a federal felony. At the NRA convention I heard a story of somebody dropping a Ruger Charger into a 10/22 stock, suddenly making an un-registered Short-barreled rifle.
None of these people might be aware they’re breaking the law…does that grant them immunity from the law? Of course not.
Hey but if nobody knows about the militia clauses in the US constitution that means it doesn’t exist.
This kind of stupid from a Minor Child is unacceptable, from a Brady Campaign Board Member, and a Joyce Foundation spokes flack….well frankly its commonplace.
Gotta love Joan’s “Well most people…” rebuttals.
I hope someone pointed out TITLE 10, Subtitle A, PART I, CHAPTER 13, ยง 311 to her.
Although, on second thought, maybe we could get rid of Obamacare just by pretending it doesn’t exist… Hmmm.

I’m all for expanding the definition of course.
I don’t think the age and sex discrimination would stand up to any court challenge. It just so happens nobody has brought suit on it.
